ok, so I was trying to go with verizon, them f*ckers tried to charge me 400 to get started. These buttholes just want money, and for what. I need a phone and I need one now. The local no contract phones dont have accessibiloty. Which brings me to another f*cking point, why is the software that make phones accessible so d*mn expensive. How the hell am I supposed to get that and I don't have a job right now, they make it so hard for us these day. Don't get me started on the job situation, I went to college for four years and haven't landed that dream job since graduation...what is this, sh*t on Ericka day. Oh yeah and because I don't have a job my credit gets messed up, jeesh what can I do to fix this crap cause honestly I am tired of it all.
Aah, greatest country in the world, eh. If you have money that is, else it sucks.
Most countries do, but at least in Europe the government will get you software for your phone so you can use it.
Look for used phone with an older version of MS or Talks, if it is fairly old or ties to a phone company you might get away with paying $150 or so, may be even less.
I feel ya on all that. And I had to pay $400 when I switched to Verizon as well because of my credit. Mind you, most of my credit problems are a result of me being young and stupid, but I'm not anymore and am sick of still paying the price for it. I wouldn't advise getting Verizon if you haven't already. My problems with them were only beginning when I put down the deposit, and I've learned of several other people who've had problems with them too. I would suggest either T-Mobile or Cricket, though Cricket may not have an accessible phone. I don't know that for sure, however.
